Afternoon conditions and temperatures at Kilkenny from Mon Jan 15th:

This week will be windy and wintry. Starting reasonably mild and damp on Monday but some bright spells and showers will come through in the afternoon. Turning cool by evening. Tuesday will be a cold day with some wintry showers and bright spells. There is a risk that any snow showers falling overnight Tuesday could settle for a time giving hazardous driving. However it won't last long as temperatures will increase a little on Wednesday with any showers then being of rain. Overnight Wednesday it will turn windy as a storm depression passes over Ireland. Winds will ease off gradually on Thursday and both Thursday and Friday will again be cold days with some bright spells and a few wintry showers. Saturday will be dry and cold with frost clearing and some sunny spells. Becoming wet and mild then for Sunday. Outlook for next week is for more rain/unsettled conditions.
